You just cant stop tears when SAHIBZADA ZORAWAR SINGH AND SAHIBZADA FATEH SINGH was leaving from Anandpur sahib and hugging their grand mom@(MATA GUJRI JI). All other songs and Shabads like Mitar Pyaare nu and SATGUR NANAK PARGATYA...... AND all others.really really such a heart touching Music..

Characterizations-: sorry i did a mistake by saying characterized bcoz again these are not characters of virtual life but a Real Life Heroes...

Presentation-: The Presentation of this film is just awesome and even in INTERVAL mostly persons included my family members just sticked with their seats.

3D Presentation-: A++++++ this is best grade .. A Great work done by the team who make it possible to create a 3D Picturization on such a SENSITIVE topic..... thumbs up for this (y). Overall its more than everything which i describe..... i might be biased in this post but just cant say anything wrong about it...... so go and watch it with your friends and family and tell others to watch what they do for us and against 'what was wrong'.

Even with the lack of Hollywood animation, this film does well to entertain and enrich a neutral audience. It's for all the peoples not just for Punjabi's, and not just for Sikhs.

Love this movie...! Waiting for the second part... First thing i would like to say is animation is very difficult and that too with motion capture technology. This movie has not brought the best of animation in every areas, in certain places it was marvellous. Especially the Siva Thandavam by Kochadaiyan is the best scene in the movie. Concentration in facial expressions and apart from Super Star Ranjinikanth, other characters can be shown a little more effectively. Overall it scores in below aspects Screenplay Songs BGM Animation (Dance) Dialogues (MASS) Ranjini Sir (He is the major part)

Rocky Handsome Movie Review

Yet to see 'the man from nowhere'. People are saying that the story is the same. There is in fact similarities in various scenes of this film to those Korean ones. The stunts look familiar if you have seen Raid 1 and 2.

Still, it is new for the Indian audience. I won't say that it is an innovative movie, because gone are the days when Indian audience was unaware of the cinema outside bollywood. So, its 'inspired', doesn't mean we cannot enjoy it. Noshikant Kamat's direction is really good. I would say, 'Mumbai meri Jaan' level good. Action scenes are well choreographed. The characters can be connected to, like John's and that cute little kid who has definitely done great in her first film. So yes, i think 7/10 is right for it.

Mastizaade Movie Review

It's only January and we already have two sex comedies that are not worth even a single dime.

Sunny (Kapoor) and Aditya (Das) are two womanizers who philander their way to ceaseless sexual gratification. However, twin sisters Lily and Laila (both Leone) inspire these bachelors to take commitment seriously. What inspires them? Of course the hot bod. The rest of the plot revolves around Sunny and Aditya's attempts to woo these sisters while the narrative simultaneously smothers its audience with a crowd of unwanted, cringe-worthy characters.

If you did watch Kyaa Kool Hai Hum 3 in spite of my warning, then you will understand that Mastizaade is its cousin. Only this one is more mature and more porn-like. Nevertheless, it is full of crass, lousy dialogs that uses pun to create humor, and baseless story arcs.

Having said that, there is not much difference between Hollywood and Bollywood sex comedies for they are both made to appeal the male gaze. And Mastizaade is no different. While I do not expect much from Kapoor, Das playing such a role is a disappointment - the second time after he ran behind Miss Ranaut in Revolver Rani (2014). Leone is fine, but it's sad to learn that she will and can only work in such films because certainly Sooraj Barjatya is not gonna cast her in his follow-up to that disastrous Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (2015). Honestly, she cannot act.

Not funny, awkward at best, very shallow theme throughout, middle aged women prancing around like kids, not convincing in their roles.. Annoyed that I wasted my evening..

I have never written a review before, but I was moved by my disappointment. All the publicity and promotion. I expected more.

There isn't really much of a story line to critique. It fails in every aspect. The script lacks depth, the jokes are poor, visually there is nothing exceptional to remark on.

Light hearted movies with poor scripts at least keep the audience entertained with visuals (e.g attractive cast/nice cars/art/architecture/fun parties etc). Sadly this movie also fails to this regard...

This film tells the story of a sensitive stepfather who is disliked by his two stepchildren, despite trying super hard to win the kids' hearts. One day, the biological father shows up at the doorstep, and a big oneupmanship ensues.

"Daddy's Home" shows two likable fathers by they are so different from each other. Their competition is full on, the jokes are very funny but does not feel silly at all. The best thing is that Mark Wahlberg's character is super attractive and charming in almost every way. He says the right thing all the time, he can criticise and manipulate the other father unreasonably and yet you would find yourself agreeing with his half twisted logic.

"Daddy's Home" is way better than I expected and I really enjoyed watching it.

The Boss  Movie Review

Ben Falcone keeps proving to me that he is a horrible writer and a horrible director. There is nothing about this film that works. Read on to find out why: We have a female boss by the name of Michelle Darnell was placed under arrest for Insider Trading. She has just been released and wants to become something huge, something big and ready to become "America's sweetheart." All the people she messed over aren't quite willing to forgive her. Very simple plot.

Melissa Mccarthy is just just plain horrible. We all know that her character is unlikable, but this was beyond a joke. In the movie world if you decide to create a very obnoxious, nasty, mean, and repulsive character...it can work...but the actor/actress playing this character needs to be able to bring something great to the table and by acting greatly and making you appreciate this horrible/unlikable character. Melissa Mccarthy does none of this, and therefor makes it completely outrageous and leaving you in total discomfort for a full 90 mins. Kristen Bell was horribly casted and was just pointless. Peter Dinklage was the only decent thing about this film, and he managed to give us a few chuckles. That's the sign of a good actor. But he's used as the stereotypical midget and we are laughing at his advantage. Again, it just didn't work.

Women and slapstick comedy - a mixture that fails abysmally. And this movie does just that. Nothing worked. It was a horrible combination. I will never watch this again. I disliked Tammy, but this one was even worse! It was just horrible

While our domestic military gets stronger (DHS, Police State, etc.), the middle class starts to die off. A huge gap between the rich and the rest of us... and how they control us using the television, just like the movie. And who are these domestic terrorists? Those who believe in Liberty, life, and the pursuit of happiness. The ending was expected, but a twist that I cannot wait for in the next movie. And please, when you're watching these Hollywood movies, try and find a connection to the what is happening in the real world.

The Peanuts Movie Review

I am a hardcore Peanuts fan and have been looking forward to this movie coming out ever since I found out about it almost 2 years ago. We went on opening day and I will admit, I was hoping that the creators of this movie would stay true to the heart of the characters and the Schulz comic strip. I found it amazing that the voices were spot on and I have no clue how they made them sound so authentic! They even managed to work in the original comic strips and animations into the movie in a really awesome and creative way! I literally did not stop smiling during the entire movie and left with a headache because of it LOL We are going back to see it again this week and cannot wait for it on DVD! :)

Kung Fu Panda 3 Movie review

I rate the original Kung Fu Panda so highly it comfortably makes my top five animated movies of all time. Yes, of all time. And the second one, widely disregarded by most critics, is not that far behind it in my eyes. Well this trilogy-closer proves the law of diminishing returns to be true by continuing the slight downward trend of the series, yet it still kicks, punches and rib tickles its way to being an entertaining experience for all ages. Screenwriters Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger unleash everything including the comedic kitchen sink in an attempt to garner laughs, littering this follow-up with inventive visual gags, hilarious dialogue (often helped by Jack Black's endearing delivery) and cheeky in-house references. The comedy doesn't always land without a hitch but it is of a high enough standard that the few damp squibs float by without much notice, and they've also struck a nice balance between obvious jokes for the kiddies and subtler quips for the adults. Where there's a noticeable dip in quality, however, is with the martial arts sequences; the fights lacking the ingenuity and complexity of the previous volumes, despite being passionately directed and beautifully realised. A venture into the spiritual realm allows the gorgeous animation to thrive even more than normal, though it's a shame the cut-and-paste narrative didn't get the same level of attention from those operating behind the scenes. This is undoubtedly Black's show and his voice work as the bumbling Po is outstanding yet again. Elsewhere in the gigantic ensemble cast, newcomer Kate Hudson makes the biggest impression with her hysterical delivery as the confident ribbon-dancing Panda, Mei Mei. Although it may have lost the spark of brilliance existing in the first instalment, KFP3 is nevertheless an exuberant and delightful adventure.

Captain America: Civil War Movie review

I pretty much like or love all the Marvel Studios movies, starting with Iron Man through last year's Ant-Man. So there was virtually no chance I wouldn't enjoy Civil War. But this might be my favorite Marvel movie yet. So many characters are in it, yet I felt like every one of them got at least one memorable moment, even lame ol' Hawkeye! At the end of Act 2, there's a 20-minute battle scene that involves a dozen super-heroes, and it's amazing, probably the best of this genre. I went in rooting 100% for Cap, but by the end, I was feeling really badly for Iron Man and kinda wanted to see him kick Steve Rogers' butt. We get a couple of new heroes – Spider-Man and the Black Panther – and they are both just about perfect translations from comic book to film. This Brit they have playing Peter Parker is probably my favorite Spidey yet, even though he's only on screen for maybe 15 minutes. He's exactly as Spidey should be: a nervous kid who handles his anxiety by being a nonstop motormouth during his battles. And the Panther is just so cool. Ant-Man plays a big part in that huge battle I mentioned, getting some of the best moments during the fight. But really, this movie is Cap's, Bucky's, and Tony's story. What helps make it so great is how Marvel has built up their saga over multiple movies – we're already familiar with and invested in these characters. And the filmmakers use that to great advantage here. It's sad to see them pitted against each other, but completely understandable in the context of the film. Bottom line: if you've enjoyed some or all of the Marvel movies, you'll have a great time with Civil War. It's a blast! And it might even draw a tear or two…

Sonam Kapoor's terrific hijacking drama will leave you teary-eyed

As everyone knows, Neerja is based on the brave airhostess who lost her life saving many others during the unforgettable Pan Am hijacking of 1986. When it comes to hijacking dramas, the first and the best film that comes to my mind is United 93, a terrifying drama set on the only flight that crashed on an empty paddock during the infamous 9/11 attacks. As far as I can remember, Bollywood's last attempt in this genre was the mediocre Shiny Ahuja film, Hijack. So it was with some trepidation that I went to watch Neerja, but in the end, I was simply bowled over!

The biggest positive I can say about the film, and I would want to say right at the start itself, the film never lets down the spirit of Neerja Bhanot. While Bollywood biopics have the tendency to put masala in stories of real life personalities, Neerja thankfully avoids that! If Neerja was a hero in real life, Ram Madhvani is the real hero of the film. It is to his credit that he has made such a compelling drama that will keep you on the edge of your seats. The entire hijacking situation is so brilliantly shot that you feel that you are a part of the life threatening drama. The tension you feel in the scenes are palpable, especially when the terrorists realise there is no hope for them and they become reckless. The docu style camera work heightens the sense of claustrophobia in you. The background score is tense and brilliantly done. But where Ram Madhvani actually scores is how he shot the final moments of Neerja's sacrifice – intense yet emotionally wrought. If those scenes don't bring tears from your eyes, your heart is definitely made of stone. Another thing that worked for the film is the casting. From the main leads to even the supporting ones, everyone has done Justice to their roles. The makers must be lauded for choosing relative new comers in the other roles, as it works in creating a sense of realism. The actors playing the terrorists totally look their part, especially the one playing Khalil. But the film would not have been what it is, if it was not for the film's main leads. Despite her limitations (her voice is still not so easy to adjust), Sonam is the heart and soul of the film. This is a role that she can show her detractors and ask them to just shut up! She is terrific, especially in the second half, where her eyes speak a lot, of fear, of courage. Shabana Azmi is great, as always and her final speech will definitely make you cry if you haven't started yet. Yogendra Tiku, who plays Sonam's father in the film, is another actor to look out for. In his debut film, composer Shekhar Ravjiani is pretty likable in his small role. Also, if a scene or two would have shown about how the Indian Government reacted to the situation, it would have been great.

Neerja's last words to her mother in the film is a famous Rajesh Khanna dialogue about Pushpa and her tears! Even though I hate them a lot, you just can't leave the hall with dry eyes! Aamir, you have more company in the crying club.

I really, really liked Deadpool. And you know what? I didn't expect to. Seriously, I was never a fan of the character (in the sense that I hardly knew anything about him) and the humor as well as the violence seemed forced and overdone in the trailers. Still, I remained interested in the film, I just never expected it to actually be good - until the reviews arrived. After most critics unexpectedly showered this newest superhero movie with praise, I went in cautiously optimistic (but still fully prepared to hate the film).

The first thing I noticed was how inventive the storytelling is. The film throws you into the action from the first moment (literally: the very first moment) and then it goes back and forth in brilliant and unexpected ways to slowly unspool the story of this insane - but oddly charming - antihero. Flashbacks and fast-forwards can be annoying as hell, but when done right, they can help render even a somewhat simple story fresh and exciting. And that's exactly how Deadpool felt to me right from the start: like a fresh (if somewhat dirty) jolt of energy.

The action itself is beautifully designed, employing playful visuals and using pretty much every camera technique available; it never feels repetitive and the pacing is close to perfection. But, and that was probably the key to me liking the film so much, there's a beating heart underneath all the action and carnage, and that has a lot to do with how brilliantly Ryan Reynolds portrays the character and the great chemistry he has with co-star Morena Baccarin. What came as a complete surprise to me was how unabashedly romantic Deadpool is. The love story in this film is probably the most sincere I've ever seen in a superhero movie and it gives the film the strong emotional core which so many of these movies lack.

The humor, which I initially feared would just be non-stop juvenile wisecracks and soon become distracting, also works surprisingly well. Not every line or every joke lands - but that's the beauty of this character: they don't really need to. Deadpool can't help himself; as long as he's able to breathe he'll crack wise and make fun of himself and those around him. It's a clinical condition; he's not a stand-up comedian whose jokes need to land: he's a madman (albeit a very entertaining one) and the comedy in his case is born out of tragedy.

Despite all my praise, it's not a perfect film. The villain in this revenge tale could be more memorable and the story itself is a bit too derivative to really do its highly unconventional protagonist (he insists he's not a hero) justice: but it's a damn good first entry in a franchise that will hopefully explore the character and his world to a much larger extent in the sequel(s). And it's actually a very important film for another reason. If Deadpool is a financial success - which at this point is already clear it will be - this could play a vital role in how studios henceforth view the financial prospects of R-rated superhero films, and we'll hopefully see more of them in the future.

Many people might feel different - and I respect their opinion - but I've grown tired of the entirely bloodless CGI overkill in all those 200 million productions where even the most terrible villains talk like Mormon schoolgirls. I mean: there's a gigantic audience out there that is over the age of 18, loves to read comic books and can absolutely handle real-world language, real-world sex and real-world violence in superhero movies. This genre is so diverse; it's ridiculous to believe just because comic books have pictures in them all film adaptations - regardless of the material - must automatically be made for kids in order to be successful.

As it is, I think Deadpool - a dirty, funny, sexy and violent film which is decidedly NOT for kids - just proved my point perfectly. 9 stars out of 10.

Plot: A gang of criminals and corrupt cops plan to kill an officer to pull off the biggest heist yet across the town.

Casey Affleck stars as Chris Allen the nephew of Sergeant Detective Jeffrey Allen (Harrelson) the cop behind the investigation of catching the criminals, and figuring out who the corrupt cops are. Terrell Tompkins (Ejiofor) is the leader of the corrupt cops lead by Irina Vlaslov (Winslet), Winslet's stand out performance really puts the film together kind of like in last year's Steve Jobs.

Although this dark and gritty cop thriller was almost never made by Australian director John Hillcoat (The Proposition, The Road), mainly because of production problems and loads of actors dropping out. For example Shia LeBeouf became Charlie Hunnam became Casey Affleck for Chris Allen, then Michael B. Jordan became Mackie as Marcus Atwood, Cate Blanchett replaced for Kate Winslet and Christoph Waltz for Woody Harrelson.

It's courageous yet patchy in parts but still gets the story through, but not as good as Dennis Villeneuve's criminally underrated Sicario (2015) it still is a gripping and action packed adventure.

These are the reasons why I think this is a must see thriller:

Captivating set-pieces: There are several set-pieces used in the film one of them even takes the film to the next level. The main set-piece that will grab your attention is the Ram Raid around the middle of the film, that is truly an original set-piece that is very gripping.

Strong Cast: The cast really makes this film people like Chiwetel Ejiofor known 12 Years A Slave, and last years The Martian, Anthony Mackie plays The Falcon in so many Marvel films, Finally the real performance comes from Kate Winslet and her very convincing Russian accent. They make this film a must in my opinion.

Finally with the amazing action and intense set-pieces this film is like Point Break vs Sicario and is truly a once in a life time thriller that will have you gripping your seat from start finish. Although it is not for the faint-hearted.

        It's a mythological movie, always liked mythological movies, and this one was no exception. I went into the movie not having read any of the critics reviews, and when I came home afterwards, I was surprised to see so many critics have bashed the movie. The only problem that they can cite is that this movie had too many white actors in it! This was never a problem in the past, The Clash of the Titans and the Immortals were similar mythological movies from just a few years ago, also with a mainly white cast and it was never even mentioned for them. Since this movie came out so soon after the 2016 Oscar awards ceremony, which was criticized heavily for not having any black actors or black-based films nominated, maybe this movie got unfairly caught up in the fad of the times? 

Anyways, there's a lot to love about this film. Watch the depiction of the flat Earth, with a Sun being dragged around by Ra's chariot. They could've gone with a modern scientific depiction of the round Earth and the Sun, but this is mythology, they wanted to stay true to the mythological depiction, and so they did depict it like mythology has it. But their depiction is a lot of fun, it is sort of a retro-modern depiction.
